What we did: Translation and preparation of English subtitles.

This film uses precise units of measurement. At some point, the translator of the first version lost his way and translated ‘fathoms’ as ‘saplings’. As a result, an editor found the corker “aim 30 trees to the west” in an early version of the translation. Yet more proof that editors are absolutely essential!
